Prosperous Square Development is a Richmond-based general contracting studio that has spent over a decade refining one thing: how to deliver beautiful, functional, lasting buildings — on time, on budget, and without drama.

We work in three disciplines — custom homes, residential renovation, and commercial fit-outs — but every project starts the same way: with a long conversation about what the space is supposed to do, who is supposed to live or work in it, and what success will feel like when the keys change hands.

Why we do this the way we do.

Construction, in our experience, is one of the few industries where the simple things — answering the phone, giving a real number, finishing on the day you said you would — are the things that actually distinguish you. After more than a decade in the trade, that's still the bar we hold ourselves to.

We don't take on every project that comes through the door. We take on the ones we know we can do well — typically two or three custom homes, a handful of renovations, and a small number of commercial fit-outs at any given time. That's deliberate. It's how we stay personally involved with each build instead of becoming a logistics company that happens to own a saw.
